If you close your eyes to the epigonism, then Lightmatter will provide fans of the genre with a couple of busy evenings and an elevated mood.Every step in the experimental lair is controlled by the CEO nicknamed Virgil. To die quickly and dramatically, it is enough to make a tiny mistake. The game has so many references to Portal that at times their number suggests that the developers are flirting with the fan audience. However, the derivative nature of the idea does not detract from the merits of the gameplay. Lightmatter has an intriguing plot, humor and entertaining mechanics; in addition, the villain is voiced by a charismatic actor who knows how to play a voice perfectly. In terms of graphics, the project looks interesting: the minimalist design style is replete with many small details, which gives the picture volume and scale.
