Little Misfortune

Little Misfortune's plot is unusual. The exact time and place of action are not reliably known, but indirect signs indicate that Sweden and the year 1993 are on the screen. The main character, Misfortune, is a little eight-year-old girl who lives with her parents in a dysfunctional family. Judging by the attitude of adults towards her, she was an unwanted child, since her father and mother did not want her to be born. The game is made in the genre of dark fantasy with elements of adventure.The story of Little Misfortune begins with the voice-over narrator telling that today is the black day when Misfortune must die. Unexpectedly, he is interrupted by the girl herself, who replies that she can hear him. Then the narrator offers the heroine to play a game that involves doing actions. In this case, she will not have a choice, but only consequences. If the protagonist manages to reach the final, she will receive eternal happiness. She accepts the offer. Her first task is to leave hers without others finding out about it, which she happily does.Failure begins to explore the surroundings and different places in the town of Openfields, where she is. In her research, she repeatedly meets a fox that has anthropomorphism. They develop mutual sympathy, and the protagonist gives the animal the name Benjamin. However, the narrator really does not like him. The fox leads the heroine along, and during the journey it turns out that the voiceover belongs to a creature from another dimension. His name is Morgo. The animal actually turns out to be a protector, called upon to protect all children from the antagonist. And since he cannot directly contact the child, he is forced to take the form of animals. In the finale, the girl tries to escape from the evil spirit and finds her body near her parents' house. She died, and her soul is transported to another world where she meets death.
