Long Night is an indie horror with a third-person view, the action of which takes place in a camp called Long Night. Such a prophetic title describes the essence of what is happening - a group of teenage students need to survive the dark time of day, being on the territory of a recreation center, where strange otherworldly events began to occur. The protagonists gathered here every year and took a break from the bustle of the world, but this time everything did not go according to plan. The setting is the romanticized 90s in the United States of America.The cutscenes present in the game between gameplay inserts are made in the style of hand-drawn comics with full stylization of magazine spreads. They allow you to learn more about what is happening and get to know the characters better. Also, the presence of additional activities in the project in the form of quests-memories, which allow you to get acquainted with the past, contributes to immersion in the backstory. The gamer is provided with gameplay options, which will happen in a single-player campaign with support for control using a controller. You can choose classic (hardcore) or modern (casual). They differ from each other by the presence of checkpoints and highlighting important objects to move forward. This choice does not affect the ending and the plot as a whole.
