The sorcerer Balkot and his army devastate the fertile territories of the fantasy country of Urak. Now the beautiful cities are destroyed in Lords of Magic: Special Edition, and Balkot's supporters go to worship in the temples, trying to revive the evil Lord. The hero must stop and kill the Sorcerer, using magic, pumping up his skills, creating alliances and exploring vast territories. Having gathered an army, the gamer will lead it to victory over hordes of skeletons, dragons, and monsters. The edition includes the original game and a set of quests Legends of Urak. The main feature of the action is a combination of fantasy role-playing elements with real-time battles.Available factions:

• Life - Eldren. This includes elves using bows and staves. Weakness - close combat, but people can summon Pegasus and a phoenix.
• Death - dark swamp elves-necromancers. These are excellent cavalrymen with spears, capable of summoning a vampire and a lich.
• Earth - slow, but strong and hardy gnomes and hobbits living in mushrooms and burrows. Great worm - reinforcements in battle.

At the start, the user selects a lord from 24 available, among which are magicians, warriors, thieves. The editor allows you to change some parameters of the wards. Then the hero goes on a journey through the country of Urak, divided into 8 regions, each of which is inhabited by bearers of a separate faith. The army includes archers, infantry-cavalry and creatures. The gameplay consists of moving wards, managing cities - in turn-based mode, and battles in real time. During the movement, lords find treasures in dungeons or get them from other factions. Here, the economy and progress of religion can be undermined by enemy marauders. The gamer can cooperate with alliances through trade, diplomacy, and research exchange.
