Madland is an adventure action game that provides the gamer with a first-person gaming experience. The project was developed by a small group of indie developers, who were inspired by various franchises to create a truly atmospheric setting. It was based on elements from Half-Life, Outlast and some other brainchildren. Most of the game time, the gamer is offered to shoot monsters thanks to a wide arsenal of firearms, but there are moments of exploring locations in order to find valuable items that may be useful further along the storyline, as well as notes with information that clarify what is happening or expand the lore of the universe. An alternative to open combat with enemies is stealth, almost every moment can be overcome in this way.The single-player campaign is divided into 4 separate chapters, each of which differs in mood from the others. For the most attentive gamers, a hidden episode will open, hiding most of the secrets of the storyline. The map presented in the game is completely open for exploration at any time, the user will be able to decide for himself whether to complete the main missions, or focus on finding additional activities and content. The soundtrack during gameplay constantly changes depending on what is happening on the screen - from calm industrial or orchestral performance, to drum and bass and techno.
