MARDEK

Who would have thought that in a project like MARDEK it would be possible to combine the ideas of science fiction and fantasy, working out the lore to the smallest detail. The focus is on a young guy named Mardek, who has long dreamed of an unforgettable journey. And his dream came true, but not quite as he imagined. It turned out that he literally shares a mind with the evil wizard Rohopkh. Having received part of his knowledge, Mardek sets off on a journey, exploring new places and learning much more about himself and those around him.The three parts of the story that MARDEK's plot is divided into demonstrate the period of the hero's maturation, when he actually becomes a man from a boy. His companions, who later become members of the team, help him adapt in difficult situations, and then fight shoulder to shoulder with him. As for the gameplay itself, the key mechanics are tailored for RPG and character development. Each unit has its own list of skills, including both close combat and attacks from a distance. This could be archery, or the release of magical clots that inflict periodic damage on enemies. Battles here take place in turn-based mode, when each side has the opportunity to use their units to attack and strike. And after victory, players will have the opportunity to improve some skills, or purchase additional items such as potions. But much more attention is paid to the plot component, because a significant part of the running time is devoted to dialogues, where the motive and essence of some important events are revealed.
