Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne is a third-person shooter that continues the story of the previous game. The plot centers on a police officer named Max Payne - a former cop accused of murder. The sequel retains all the hallmarks of the original: intense shootouts, bullet-time mode and a dark noir style. The story is presented in the form of animated comics. The sequel allows you to play as Max's girlfriend - Mona Sax. The main weapon of the hero is the Beretta 92FS, but as you progress you can unlock shotguns, machine guns, Uzis, sniper rifles, grenades, etc.d.. In Max Payne 2, you can shoot in Macedonian style, taking one barrel in each hand. Initially, only one difficulty level is open - Detective. However, after completing it, New York Minute and Dead Man Walking are unlocked. In the first, you need to clear locations for a while, and the second is a level in which you need to fight off endless waves of enemies. The main feature of Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne is the bullet-time mode - slowing down time, allowing you to aim at enemies. Jump and shoot in the air, hide behind cover and constantly move, effectively killing enemies. In close combat, you can hit the enemy with the butt. If you die often, then the artificial intelligence begins to give in a little, and painkillers replenish more health points. Grenades are now thrown by pressing one key, which significantly affects the dynamics of the gameplay. The action begins in the fall of 2003, when the hero returns to serve in the New York police. However, a meeting with an old friend Mona draws Max into another conflict.
