Mechcommander is a videogame adaptation of the BattleTech tabletop universe. This is an isometric and tactical strategy. Unlike the original, the game is played in real time, not step by step. The title uses a sci-fi setting.
In some older localizations, the product occurs under an alternate name "Mechcommander". It is set in the distant future, where humanity has mastered space. Humans are divided into different factions. They actively use walking combat robots in military conflicts. Mechs are 11-17 meters tall and can fight in any climate.
In the story the forces of the Inner Sphere invade the planet Port Arthur.
