Medulla

Medulla is a platformer with a large number of puzzles that the gamer will have to face in a single-player campaign consisting of dozens of levels. The setting for the world created by a small indie studio was a fairy tale theme, where many things seem familiar, but with significant differences from real prototypes, thanks to the use of a surreal painting style. All the scenery involved in the storyline is hand-drawn. The main character is a young guy traveling through different corners of the universe and encountering rather non-obvious puzzles that initially seem completely devoid of logic.The camera in the game is constantly located on the side relative to two-dimensional locations. Each territory is quite memorable and deposited in the user's head, the developers were able to achieve this thanks to the rich elaboration of the background, which is interesting to look at, thereby distracting from the process of solving the tasks. Due to the lack of a timer and the need to hurry, the player can calmly enjoy the views and references to popular works of various artists, without fear of losing and going to a checkpoint.
