• Talion is the protagonist who dies after killing his family during an attack by the Uruks. Celebrimbor's spirit resurrects the guy to destroy the Dark Lord.
• Celebrimbor is a true master of blacksmithing and jewelry in Eregion, an elf. Sauron, having first forged the Rings of Omnipotence, pretending to be the elf Annatarn, one day comes to the blacksmith with a request to create the Rings of Power. So the insidious antagonist decided to take control of the remaining artifacts. The blacksmith managed to hide the artifacts of the Dwarves and Elves, for which he was imprisoned in the fortress of Barad-Dur, where under torture he gave out the location of only the dwarven rings.
• Sauron is the Dark Lord, who is served by a lot of minions, including the Tower, the Hammer, and is also capable of taking the form of the Black Hand.
• Gollum is an ordinary hobbit, disfigured by a powerful ring, who helps the protagonist in his quest.

In addition to the story Campaign, the user goes through secondary missions that are necessary to increase experience and obtain the necessary skills. An important part of the gameplay is tracking down and exterminating orc captains, and subjugating them by branding. Events in the game can take their course without the participation of a character who, for example, having recovered from his own murder, can remember everything that happened during his absence. The orcs here are intelligent and have an excellent memory, for example, they will definitely be mentioned if they met the protagonist before.
