The introduction introduces the main character Claire Barnes, who finds herself driving her own car on a deserted highway in the dead of night, in just a couple of paragraphs. The intriguing beginning of Midnight Scenes: The Highway has a rapid and terrible development, plunging the character deeper into mystical dark events, the secret of which the woman will have to uncover by going around several locations where key objects and clues are scattered. The first is put into the inventory for solving quest puzzles, the second - photographs, ads and newspaper clippings - clarify the details of the tragedy.Despite the clichés from typical horror films, such as a missing teenager, a hissing radio reacting to paranormal activity, a bulky obstacle barricading the road, and dead bodies, to which the pixel lady reacts with stoic calm, because the animation is poorly developed, the two-dimensional black and white adventure has an elusive charm of its own style. A short quest in just a quarter of an hour skillfully presents a very simple story at first glance. The measured gameplay will not surprise you with any screamers or action-packed moments, but there will still be a twist in the finale.
