Might and Magic: Heroes 7 – Trial by Fire is a continuation of the cult series of turn-based strategies of the same name, in which the brave Count Ivan will have to fight for the right to sit on the throne of the Falcon Empire. The action takes place seven years after the murder of the last Empress Miv from the ancient dynasty. The candidate for the throne will have to make a difficult choice - to continue the long-term civil war for power or to retreat and stop the bloodshed. His closest advisers' stories will help him make a decision. There are 6 such stories in total. Each of them is a unique campaign, telling about the history of the virtual world and the key events in it that have occurred in recent years. Through the prism of these adventures, Ivan is obliged to better understand the situation and get to know the people of the kingdom. Chapter 7 will be completed from the perspective of the Duke himself, where he will decide the fate of the Falcon Empire. Might and Magic: Heroes 7 – Trial by Fire includes the original game and all add-ons, in which the developer added new factions and missions. The gameplay remains classic for the entire series. The gamer controls an army led by a legendary character in turn-based mode. Traveling around the map, the commander finds treasures and resources that can be spent on upgrading the fortress. In the castle, it is worth hiring troops for the army - the rest will join as mercenaries.Battles are similar to a game of chess. In them, the commander moves units around the location, divided into cells. Units attack each other in close and long-range combat. In addition to managing troops, it is extremely important to use spell scrolls. Some of them are boosts for allies, such as healing, resurrecting the dead, and increasing attack. The rest are aggressive spells that damage the enemy or weaken his characteristics.
