The events of Misao: Definitive Edition revolve around the disappearance of an ordinary schoolgirl. Misao was a rather withdrawn girl, she rarely communicated with anyone, often became a target for evil pranks of a local gang of hooligans. About three months ago, she disappeared without a trace. Since then, the school is considered cursed and rumors of unnatural phenomena occurring in this place have become increasingly common. Many have dubbed this the curse of Misao. The user will have to take on the role of a classmate of the missing girl, delve into the relationships of the children and figure out what happened. At the beginning of the campaign of Misao: the final edition, the player must choose their character. Of the available parameters, only the hero's gender can be customized. In some moments, this will be important, as it can affect the dialogues. However, the rest of the plot remains the same. Then the narrative itself begins. The camera uses a third-person view, against the background of which various characters periodically appear. All of them played a role in the disappearance of the girl, so their stories will be important for the player. In such conversations, you can better learn about the character of the girl, imbue herself with her experiences, understand what led to her disappearance. Was her resentment really the cause of inexplicable events? At the same time, scenes with the participation of the missing one herself will be shown periodically.
