Morse Academy is a visual short story with an emphasis on a psychological horror that immerses a player in a mission with three agents: Mira, Goran and Sarka. These people, connected by a common past, return to their former boarding school, now abandoned and called the School. Their mission is to capture a fugitive hiding somewhere within its walls. Progressing through the building brings to life old traumas and divisions among the squad.Inside Morse Academy, the pursuit takes a serious toll on the team's relationships. The target they are pursuing uses fear as a weapon, spreading messages that can confuse and change the perception of reality in the decaying building. Childhood memories come to life, but appear distorted, contradicting the characters' memories. The environment itself is oppressive, increasing paranoia, while old grievances, secret betrayals and deeply hidden episodes from life burst out, influencing their actions and judgments.Interactive storytelling involves making decisions that directly affect the growth of suspicion and the destruction of trust within the team. These choices determine the overall ending for the group, leading to one of 4 endings. The gameplay uses point click mechanics and relies on a constantly updated map for orientation in the layout of the building. The plot unfolds in about 30-60 minutes, touching on themes of suppression and the ability of fear to expose hidden personality traits, which can reveal a truth about agents that is much more frightening than the initial threat in this game.
