The campaign mode, designed for single-player playthrough, includes stories of further events after the emergence of mutants, who are much stronger than humans. Everyone who was present at the research base and in the immediate vicinity underwent irreversible changes in the structure of DNA, which led to a rapid transformation into mutilated creatures.

The protagonist of the project is the engineer of the complex, who miraculously kept his mind and body in perfect order during the disaster. The transformation into an insensitive and aggressive monster is only a matter of time, because the main character could only restrain and slow down this process, and not completely avoid it. As long as the mind of the virtual protégé is in order, the user needs to escape from the complex. After completing the campaign, access to the survival mode opens, where you have to fight off waves of enemies with a wide variety of firearms, from a pistol to a powerful shotgun or an electric gun.
