Muv-Luv Altered Fable is a fan disc and sequel to Muv-Luv Alternative, a mecha visual novel. In the game's world, which is an alternate history of Earth, the planet is attacked by mysterious aliens from Mars - Beta. This leads to huge human casualties, a political redistribution of the world between three empires (the USA, the Soviet Union and Japan) and the creation of piloted robots controlled by young pilots from the national armed forces, who often die in battles with aliens.In Altered Fable, Shirogane Takeru, the protagonist of several previous parts of the series and one of the mecha operators of the imperial army, finds himself in another timeline - one where the Beta invasion did not happen, and Earth lives its quiet life. He turns out to be a simple Japanese high school student, forced to lead a simple life, full of everyday moments and peaceful life. However, subconsciously, memories of the military past and the emotions he experienced during the war remain in his memory.The gameplay of this project, like all representatives of the genre, consists of reading dialogues and texts. The user will have to choose options for actions and answers in order to direct the storyline to one of the possible endings. Here the player has 8 characters available with whom he will have to establish relationships.
