Ninety-Nine Nights belongs to the genre of mass battles, immersing you in epic battles with hordes of opponents. Participation in combat involves skillful use of a combination of the main attack buttons with the ability to jump and dash to perform special maneuvers. In contrast, individual enemies tend to exhibit limited defensive capabilities, lacking the ability to perform complex combos or set up effective blocks.Seven different characters are featured, each with a unique fighting style. Initially, only Inphyy is available, with subsequent characters unlocked as users successfully navigate their respective storylines. Progressing through these narratives gradually reveals the full roster of characters. After completing levels in Ninety-Nine Nights, gamers are graded based on their performance, receiving both a letter grade and a tally of points earned. These points serve as currency, unlocking a variety of bonuses, including concept art and character biographies. Using modest RPG elements, characters progress through levels and have the freedom to choose their weapons and accessories. These additional items, discovered at various stages or received for exceptional characteristics, provide advantages such as increased offensive capabilities. As characters level up, they unlock additional attack combinations; however, skill customization remains unavailable.
