Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake is one of the most mystical parts of the series about a private detective, which may even make her believe in the existence of the paranormal. But she continues to remain skeptical in her attempts to unravel the mystery of what is happening. The plot strongly echoes one of the stories of Sherlock Holmes, although it also has its own original changes. One day, Nancy receives a call from a very worried friend named Sally. Not long ago, she bought a luxurious house by the lake in Pennsylvania and recently everything was fine. But for several days in a row, ghost dogs with glowing eyes have been running around the building and barking frantically, trying to get into the house. When the detective arrives at the place, the girl has already managed to pack her things and drive away from the scary place. But when the protagonist tries to follow her example, the road is blocked by a fallen tree. The main suspects in the Nancy Drew case: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake:
- Red - lives in a shelter near his home, a rather irritable man, because he studies birds, and they are so easily frightened by unnecessary noise
- Jeff - according to society, a rare bore, is a park ranger
- Emily - the owner of a local souvenir shop for tourists
- Mickey - the former owner of the house, who lived here in the 1930s
Later it turns out that the previous owner was not so simple. During the Prohibition, he illegally sold alcohol and was the owner of three Rottweilers. But those times are long gone and his dark business went to the bottom. Perhaps now the spirits of his loyal animals want to take revenge for the bankruptcy?
