Necrobarista is a small masterpiece for fans of the visual novel genre. The game is incredibly stylishly directed and charms primarily with its cinematic quality. The gameplay, as in most similar projects, is contemplative, requiring from the player not so much activity as observation and sometimes attentiveness in order to decipher the next pun or solve the problem that has arisen. The plot is linear, but still contains elements of choice and twists.Of the characters, three are worth highlighting: barista Maddie, who practices necromancy in her spare time, her friend and owner of the Terminal cafe at the crossroads of the worlds of the living and the dead, named Shay, and a local child prodigy with a mechanical arm, a girl named Ashley. The latter dilutes the general melancholic-philosophical mood of the Necrobarist with funny antics and the construction of an arena for robots, revived with the help of souls caught in bottles. The heroes have long conversations with each other and sometimes get into unpleasant situations when the establishment accumulates debts to the Council of Death. This happens if Maddie secretly breaks the main rule: dead visitors are prohibited from being on the premises of the coffee shop for more than 24 hours. Both the living and the dead pass through this strange little world, half a step away from the frightening unknown. Everyone can talk to a nice girl in glasses and then go home. The game is made well - it pleases with witty dialogues, 3D scenes that are animated for a few seconds, you just have to click the mouse, and an excellent musical score that enriches the atmosphere.
