The owner of a bookstore is not doing well. His wife left him for her ex-best friend, and the business does not bring in any significant money. A hero living in poverty finds solace in reading graphic novels. One day he miraculously gets into his favorite comic book and realizes that he has become his favorite superhero named Darkshire.The main plot takes place in a city called Noctropolis. It combines cyberpunk and gothic atmosphere. In it, the supervillain Flux releases his accomplices from prison: Macabre, Succubus and Tophat. Darkshire resembles Batman. This character does not have superpowers and focuses on his physical, mental and spiritual preparation. He is helped by a friend nicknamed Stiletto - a femme fatale with a criminal past, similar to Catwoman.Noctropolis has a minimalistic interface. Initially, it is hidden and called by the right mouse button. The hero can pick up things, put them in his inventory, apply them to other objects. You can interact with objects in different ways. Movement around the city takes place on a global map.Dialogues occupy an important place in the gameplay. We are allowed to choose different answer options. A wrong replica can often lead to the death of the protagonist. This project is not non-linear. The game simply severely punishes mistakes and forces you to look for the only correct option. During communication with NPCs, Gray gains access to new locations.
