The events of Nocturne take the gamer to the historical period from 1928 to 1935. The main character moves around different countries of the world, where he needs to wage a merciless fight against vampires, werewolves, zombies and other evil representatives of the other world. During the battle, you can attack 2 opponents at the same time. The protagonist named Stranger (which translates as Stranger) works for the government secret organization Spookhouse. It is she who gives him certain tasks that he must cope with.The main character of Nocturne receives a pair of weapons to confront the forces of evil. It is thanks to him that you can shoot with both hands. Stranger also has the ability to dodge enemy attacks. The user gets a third-person view, but he can use special glasses. After using them, a first-person view is provided. During the gameplay, the hero is constantly faced with violent scenes. For example, the limbs of enemies fall off during combat. There are also a small number of puzzles where you need to find the right combinations or look for certain items.There are 4 episodes in total that you can get acquainted with during the gameplay:

• In the first episode, the protagonist goes to a half-destroyed castle in Germany. A vampire lives in this building, and the bloodsucker must be destroyed;
• The second episode - the hero moves to Texas, USA. A rural settlement is under attack by the dead who crawled out of their graves. They must be eliminated, and then go to an abandoned mine, where an evil deity woke up after 10 thousand years. He also needs to be killed;
• In the third episode, Stranger is in Chicago. The year is 1932, and the famous criminal Al Capone has learned to produce zombies. This must be stopped;
• In the fourth episode, the main character finds himself in France in 1935. He is invited to his home by an elderly hunter who is pursuing various evil spirits. The protagonist will have to solve unusual riddles, pass various tests. In addition, you need to fight with all the opponents that were in the previous episodes.
