Numen: Contest of Heroes can be attributed to representatives of hack and slash. This project differs from similar games in its setting and a couple of unusual mechanics. The action takes place during the times of Ancient Greece. Moreover, the story actively uses myths and legends. During character generation, you are given the choice of gender and religion. Numen: Time of Heroes has 3 specializations available. These are a mage, a warrior, and an archer. Each class has its own skills. For example, a melee lover can perform circular attacks, and a shooter can cause the enemy to bleed. You are not allowed to choose a profession, as in other games. After generating a protégé, we are transported to his native village, where we observe his development from a young age. The specialization will be selected automatically depending on how the character most often destroyed monsters during the training stage. A fighter can worship one of 9 deities. For example: Athena will teach you to cast a curse on opponents, Poseidon - to heal in water, Zeus - to throw lightning. Each celestial has its own special gifts. In return, you need to sacrifice animals to them. In addition to our protagonist, there are eight other characters in this world who also worship the gods. All together, they participate in the search for a powerful artifact called the sickle of Kronos and compete with each other. We will occasionally encounter other race participants. Some may become valuable allies, while others will try to put a spoke in the wheel. The project gives you the opportunity to decide for yourself what to do with them. The game has high replayability, since the choice of patron determines the further style of passage and the nature of quests. Changing the time of day also affects the availability of some tasks. The tasks themselves try to play out the schemes of bring-and-fetch or find-kill.
