A guard is sent in pursuit of him. Oddworld: Abes Oddysee is a puzzle platformer. In this 2D game, the camera is located from the side. The main character is the cleaner Abe. The character moves around the world between screens. He can walk, run, somersault, jump, sneak, squat, whistle. As he progresses, new abilities will open up to him. For example: magic, turning into Shrykull and possessing other bodies. You can climb into a slig guard and use him to communicate with other guards or shoot them. Controlling the garbage man will take some getting used to. You cannot change the layout to suit yourself.Throughout the game, the protagonist needs to save his fellow Mudokons. Moreover, the slaves often have to be led through a strip of deadly obstacles to the portal. Depending on the percentage of freed prisoners, one of two endings will be shown at the end. There is no health bar here (as well as an interface). Almost any mistake here leads to the death of Abe and his comrades. The project has a large number of puzzles tied to interaction with the environment.
