Offworld Trading Company is a real-time economic strategy. Its main feature is the absence of the usual war. You also need to compete here. But opponents are eliminated not with the help of units, but with money. Companies buy out a controlling stake from rivals, drop prices and try not to get into debt. The game has a sci-fi setting. There is a campaign consisting of 7 missions, generated mini-tasks and multiplayer. The rinks last about half an hour on average. The events unfold on Mars. The planet has already been colonized, and 4 companies have been invited to improve the lives of local settlers. These companies compete fiercely with each other. Each corporation seeks to oust other enterprises and become a monopolist. Despite the bias towards economics, Offworld Trading Company manages to be very dynamic. At the very beginning, you should decide on a place to build a base. The colony administration limits the territory, but it can be expanded if you win construction sites at an auction. There you can also obtain new technologies and patent them, thereby putting a spoke in the wheels of your opponents. Here you need to engage in the extraction of resources (among them are water, carbon, carbon, iron, silicon, aluminum) and the creation of things. For the first lesson, you will need to build mines (the deposits themselves are unevenly distributed), and for the second - to establish production chains. Goods can be sold directly to colonists or sold on the orbital market. Their prices are formed in real time based on the principle of supply and demand. The stock exchange can be influenced by asking hackers for help. There is also a black market, which is necessary for sabotage. For example: organizing a strike at someone else's plant.
