The main character is an assistant to one of the first book printers Johannes Gutenberg, whose edition of the Bible was the first printed book of wide circulation. According to the plot, the minions of Satan steal the samples needed for book printing, wanting to prevent the spread of the Word of God. The heroic paladin, who is the protagonist, goes on a campaign to return the necessary materials and disrupt the triumph of the father of lies.The gameplay of Ominous Horizons: A Paladins Calling takes place in castles, villages and dungeons of the New Age. The player will be armed with a spirit sword, capable of shooting holy energy and defeating the demonic minions of the lord of hell. The forces of darkness after their crime fled to all corners of the Earth, and therefore the hero will have to visit many real places, for example, Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids. In the locations you can find two more types of weapons that will help the paladin defeat the demons.
