One Last Crane tells the dramatic story of a Japanese schoolboy named Yuki Murakami. A guy suffers from a brain tumor, the treatment for which has not yielded any positive results. Realizing that he may die in the near future, the hero decides to fulfill his last wish. He returns to his hometown to fulfill his childhood friend's promise to meet her. A young man was going to see a girl named Saki Nishimura, but he couldn't find her from his last place of residence. Enlisting the support of his neighbor Chihiro Nagata and younger sister Mary, the young man begins his quest to find. He soon meets the school's most popular girl, Asuka Mujimoto. She turns out to be like two peas in a pod, just like his old girlfriend. At the same time, the girl is cold to the protagonist. He intends to find out what is going on here.

One Last Crane is a visual novel. She has a traditional for the genre two-dimensional drawing graphics, stylized as anime. The gameplay is also done in the usual way. On the decisions made by the user depends on the development of some of the storyline.
