Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams presents a dynamic three-dimensional world, different from the previous static background. This part offers control over the in-game camera, which differs from the fixed perspective seen in earlier versions. Players control Soki, a skilled swordsman who has inherited magical prowess and the ability to absorb the souls of defeated demons. Souls enhance weapons, strengthen defenses, and replenish health and magic. In addition, Soki gains access to the powerful Oni Mode, which improves abilities midway through the game. Character development is dependent on accumulating experience points, allowing Soki and his companions to level up. This development system allows Soki to improve various skills and unlock new combat maneuvers. Throughout his journey, Soki encounters allies with a variety of weapons and attacks, requiring him to manage his weapons and development. Gameplay allows him to issue directional commands to a non-player-controlled character during combat scenarios. The process is a walkthrough with a transition to a three-dimensional environment, providing the ability to control the camera and a robust character development system. Soul absorption mechanics and various combat strategies with allies contribute to the dynamics of the gameplay.
