Painkiller: NecroGenesys is a remake of the original two games in the Painkiller series. In the remake, the player will once again have to immerse himself in the atmosphere of a dynamic first-person shooter from 2004 with updated graphics, textures, and new types of weapons. The game has retained all the advantages of the series and presented them in a new form that no one expected from independent developers. The player in this part of the Painkiller series, as before, will have to fight hordes of monsters that inhabit the bowels of the earth. Enemies can be destroyed with the help of an extensive arsenal consisting of various types of fantastic weapons, new types of which can be found while moving through the locations. In Painkiller: NecroGenesys, the player will have to move through thematic and at the same time updated locations, visit Hell and emerge victorious over the hordes of demonic creatures that inhabit it. The main difference with the games Painkiller and Painkiller: Battle Out of Hell is the new game engine called Necro Engine, which allowed to accurately convey the atmosphere of intense action in a completely updated cover. The game retains the merits of a classic first-person action shooter, and also develops them by introducing elements of horror, setting the necessary atmosphere of horror and hopelessness of those poor souls who ended up in hell - but of course we are not talking about the main character, who is calmly ready to give a bunch of demons and other terrifying creatures a beating with an arsenal that Satan himself would envy!
