Hitman William Sherman Wild Bill ends up in Purgatory after his death in Painkiller: Resurrection. The guy did not expect this, because he is a sinner, and murder is a deadly sin for which souls are sent straight to Hell. Once in Purgatory, the hero does not yet know what this place is, and that he needs to fight demons and meet a fallen Angel. The horror offers 4 difficulty levels, where the last one does not provide for showers. The story will tell about a secret agent who did dirty work for the government. During another mission, the guy accidentally blows up a bus with innocent people instead of the enemy's car, and also dies as a result of the explosion. Now the protagonist will get a chance to fix everything if he can go through Purgatory. The shooter Painkiller: Resurrection received 6 Tarot Cards and differs from its predecessors in that there is no need to destroy all the enemies at the level. Game progress and saving at checkpoints is possible if you kill those monsters that noticed the player. The story campaign is divided into 6 levels, with different gloomy locations, for example, there is a reservoir with a hilly bottom, stone ruins with broken boards. The passage is carried out using a compass, with which you can find available checkpoints. The protagonist uses a lot of weapons, including a hammer equipped with an under-barrel thrower of barrels with explosives. The levels are non-linear and the character can break away from the route and explore intricate locations during the game.
