Painkiller: Hell & Damnation Is a first-person shooter, the sequel to the first part, released in 2004. The storyline ignores the events of the other three sequels to the original.

It all starts in Purgatory, where the main character, Daniel Garner, has remained for a long time. He was brazenly thrown by the forces of Paradise and Hell, which promised him freedom, but still he is not given the slightest chance to get out and return to his wife Katherine. The Reaper is called to help, with the condition of collecting 7 thousand souls of sinners for him. Not the most reliable ally, but Daniel has no other hope. He is given a Soulcatcher as his primary weapon.

You will find constant action and drive of shootouts with monsters throughout 18 levels with one bonus one dedicated to Halloween. Each of the levels can be passed in joint mode with a friend. Also online there is an opportunity to fight with other players or take part in the "Survival" mode and fight off crowds of evil.

The game is positioned as a hardcore shooter. Therefore, there are no shelters and rolls, no regeneration of life and armor, as well as small children's guns like M16 or AK-47.
