Panzer Dragoon: Orta is an immersive single-player rail shooter, featuring ten levels of varied challenges in a variety of environments, each culminating in an encounter with a fearsome boss. Take on the role of Orta and her dragon, navigating the levels using a full-screen targeting reticle. While the path is predetermined, alternate routes can be unlocked through in-game actions. The narrative unfolds through a combination of CGI and real-time cutscenes, with dialogue presented in the fictional Panzer Dragoon language, accompanied by subtitles. A 360-degree view allows you to scan your surroundings, anticipating threats from all directions. Enemies of different sizes and strengths appear, which are tracked by an on-screen radar that allows you to monitor the dragon's surroundings. You'll need to maneuver around enemies in 90-degree increments, dodging incoming fire and targeting specific weak points. Battle options include the Horta Blaster for continuous fire with a free-aiming mode, and the Dragon Attack, which can hit multiple enemies at once. Ammo is unlimited, allowing you to use both attack modes simultaneously. The Berserk Attack, fueled by a gauge replenished by shooting down enemies, deals devastating damage to nearby enemies while making the dragon temporarily invulnerable. The dragon has a Glide function that uses an auto-reload gauge to speed up and slow down, dealing damage when it collides with enemies. This dynamic flight mechanic adds depth to the experience, offering strategic advantages in combat situations. Complete ten exciting levels, each presenting unique obstacles and encounters with enemies. Use Horta's blaster for continuous fire and free aim mode to accurately target enemies. Master the dragon attack, strategically targeting multiple enemies at once for maximum effectiveness.
