Pharaonic, with its game mechanics and hardcore, resembles Dark Souls in a two-dimensional arrangement. Instead of legendary monsters, there are gigantic Egyptian golems, cursed mummies, undead of various sizes, sorcerers and robbers. And, of course, Pharaoh Ahmose I for dessert. At the beginning of the game, the armor class and weapon type for the main character are determined. There are two paths: the protagonist can become an armored tank, removing half of the XP in a duel with an enemy with a couple of blows, but at the same time feeling uncomfortable in a mass fight with nimble mobs; the second option is light armor, allowing you to move freely and dodge enemy attacks, but poorly protects against damage. Whatever the decision, for both tactics there is a leveling up of skills and equipment.During the gameplay, spells are unlocked that will come in handy in battle as an auxiliary tool. Each enemy type is developed through trial and error, so the protagonist, saving the world from the pharaoh's curse, will have to die more than once by combining his own attacks and memorizing the enemy's maneuvers. The equipment of the killed is given to the hero as a trophy. The save system is also borrowed from the Dark Souls universe - to save progress, the hero makes a campfire.
