PictoQuest is a puzzle based on logical thinking with role-playing elements. The backstory says that there used to be a certain place called Pictoria. Visitors flocked from all over the county to admire its beautiful unique paintings and works. Everything changed when, on a fateful night, the drawings began to disappear. All this was the fault of Moon Face, who possesses black magic. The main character can be chosen from two individuals.Contenders for the salvation of the picturesque world in PictoQuest:

• Arvel is a red-haired girl, one of the famous winning painters, who wants to get her work back to show it to the whole society.
• Flog is a blue-haired guy who loves apple pies and chops monsters into small pieces with his sharp sword in his free time.

There is a tutorial that explains all the basics and aspects of the walkthrough. The main field is divided into squares, on the sides of which are numbers indicating the number of cells to fill. If the player makes a mistake and stumbles upon a bomb, then the protagonist's health or currency is taken away. After losing a stage, the level is restarted with the same layout. The cards are not randomized, which allows you to quickly learn from mistakes and avoid them in the future. The goal of the level is to open a picture hidden in the background and filling some individual areas. Sometimes additional criteria and restrictions add complexity when overcoming a riddle: a given amount of time, reduced XP. In return, the game encourages these tests, generously giving bonuses and improvements that can heal, freeze the enemy, compensate for damage received, open a column, row or 3x3 section. Gradually the grid will become larger, forcing you to think more carefully about your decisions and make informed choices.
