PION is tough and dynamic battles on a special ship on a mysterious space station. Whole heaps of enemies will rush in waves and they all need to be destroyed. The path begins with the choice of a combat ship, there are five types, all differing in strength, maneuverability and direction of pumping. Then transfer to a randomly generated location, where you have to survive and move forward. The level is visually divided into sectors, each containing heaps of opponents, and everyone is trying to demonstrate their potential. After clearing the area, experience and rating increase, points are gained for available improvements and in addition a couple of pleasant bonuses drop out that help in overall progress. Among them there are reliable shields, energy reserves, shells for the main or secondary gun, sometimes there are a coolest barrel, which will replace the standard equipment. It is difficult to predict in which place a collision with the boss will occur. Sometimes they are so strong that the ammunition becomes almost empty.
