Project downfall

Project downfall - a hurricane shooter in a cyberpunk setting. Tired of observing a dystopian reality, the main character embarks on the path of justice, where he has to fight a huge number of enemies. Enemy sprites are 2D. Project Downfall's gameplay is a retro-wave-inspired take on the original Doom. However, the main difference between the gameplay is that every bullet counts here and it can really be fatal both for the protagonist and for any ordinary foe.

The plot takes you to the distant future. The world that is familiar to us has changed for a long time. At the center of the story is the European Union, which now has to reckon with a new superpower called the Novorossiysk Federation. It includes such states as Lithuania, Ukraine and Poland.

The first level starts from the European metropolis Crimson Tide. The Free City of Crimson Tide is the center of human development. It is located on the border of Poland with Germany. Almost all ruling parties are no longer political, but economic. The power of the future has changed and megacorporations are at the head of everything.

You play as an ordinary middle class guy. During the day he works for the good of his company, and in the evening he rests with his beloved girl Olga. However, he gets tired of modern reality and the fact that every aspect of life is controlled by corporations and, in fact, society is held hostage by the moneybags..
