In harsh conditions, the protagonist will have to take care of the residents and not forget about himself. The gameplay in the project involves a top-down view, and the graphics are made in the pixel art style.There are 3 main modes in the Project Apocalypse game:

• Sandbox - allows you to let everything take its course and experiment to your heart's content. The gamer is almost completely safe and has unlimited resources. This format is perfect for mastering the mechanics and getting acquainted with the concept of the gameplay.
• Endless survival - a tougher format, where users will have to strain themselves. Here you need to monitor the health, stress and comfort of the settlers, as well as improve the base. Funds are constantly running out, so they need to be regularly obtained.
• Missions with limited conditions - a story mode where you need to complete tasks. The walkthrough is filled with text events, and all characters have their own unique story.

The gamer can independently choose the path of development. You can focus on resources and sit behind the walls, or, conversely, send scouts outside the village and do research.
