PuzzleQuest: Challenge of the Warlords has the player saving the land of Etheria from the villain Lord Bane and his accomplices. The strategy has RPG elements, is characterized by a deep plot and battles in a puzzle format, where you have to combine crystals three in a row. Here the hero has to complete various tasks, including secondary ones received from NPCs, most of which consist of battles with monsters. The character receives his inventory, consisting of spells that are created by combining different crystals. Using spells, the player reduces the chances of opponents to make combinations. The user can develop his ward in the Campaign mode, in the process of completing 150 quests, and in Quick Play you can compete with the enemy. Gradually, the gamer creates his own empire, capturing cities and building castles. The action unfolds on a map where key locations with cities, settlements or quest points are marked, which can be captured or where you need to complete a task. Battles take place anywhere on the map, and individual monsters can be captured to study their spells or used as mounts. By creating combinations of gold chips, the user acquires helmets, armor, weapons. Experience chips bring experience to the character, and with skeletons allow them to inflict damage on the enemy. During battles, the user opposes the AI, alternately changing the location of the crystals horizontally and vertically, lining them up in rows of three or more.
