A terrible epidemic is sweeping the world in Quarantine. The gamer will try on the role of the head of the international biological safety agency - Biosecurity. The goal of the agency is to stop the rapid spread of deadly diseases and save humanity. The user assembles a team of specialists who will have to perform various tasks, acting around the world. In the process, the player examines different samples, improves technologies, trying to stop the terrible pandemic.There are 3 types of infections:
- Bacterial - prefers healthy people.
- Prion - infects cities with already sick residents.
- Viral - instantly mutates, which complicates the fight against it.
Each of them has its own characteristics. To stop a separate infection in a strategic simulator, you will need a variety of approaches. The game does not have a campaign, but offers separate missions. The main task in Quarantine is to prevent the spread of various dangerous epidemics across the planet, which quickly spread between settlements through the transport routes connecting them. Here it is important to act for the benefit of the majority, so sometimes it is necessary to sacrifice a small village to save an entire metropolis. This is the only way to block possible disease spread. When treating settlements, the user collects samples from various strains of the disease, acting in each infected city, and also explores each urban region. Here it is worth getting down to business immediately upon learning about the infection, otherwise you will have to collect more strains. There are 5 heroes who form a medical group in the simulator, each has 4 classes available - doctor, scientist, military, administrator. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to correctly use the characteristics of each member of your own group. In the process of completing tasks, characters gain experience, increasing their level, and in case of failures, injuries are possible.
