Railroads and Catacombs is a collectible card video game with elements of a turn-based RPG, whose events take place in a dystopian fantasy universe. During the passage the user becomes a sort of adventurer and treasure hunter, who goes down into the dark dungeon on a small train and plans to find gold deposits here. But the main character did not expect that the supposedly abandoned mines are not. Here lurks an ancient evil that is ready to kill whoever sets foot on these trails.

As part of the passage of Railroads and Catacombs, the user must encounter a variety of monsters and mutants. They haven't seen daylight in centuries and have turned into true devils of hell. They are hard to kill with a cold weapon, but the adventurer is not going to give up so easily in search of prey and is ready to challenge even these monsters. To do this, he has to use a deck of cards, each of which has unique properties.

In the course of the narrative and as he wins, the gamer gets new cards. They should be divided into weak, medium and strong - the latter are especially hard to get, but they deal a huge amount of damage. Also extremely important mechanics is the modification. Absolutely every card can be improved by giving new, more powerful features. The protagonist moves around the locations in real time, and can interact with a variety of objects. The battle takes place in turn-based mode, where the main character and his enemies attack one by one.
