The plot of the adventure game Rakuen revolves around a little boy living in a hospital. At one point, the protagonist asks his mother to accompany him to a fantasy world built on his favorite storybook. He wants to get to the Forest Guardian and help him fulfill 1 wish. To fulfill his destiny in the new world, he will have to complete a list of tasks revolving around helping neighbors in the ward and hospital. He will need to interact with their alter egos in the fantasy world. The boy will meet a capricious old man who defends a broken music box with his life and complains that not a single visitor has come to him for many years. The protagonist will talk to a young woman in a coma, whose husband has not left her ward for months. He will meet a little girl mourning a friend with whom she did not have time to say goodbye before she fell ill and ended up in the hospital. Gradually, the central character realizes that all the neighbors are suffering from something and struggling with their own problems. Each of them is mysteriously connected to a strange hospital. The boy will move to a parallel dimension and will travel through bizarre dungeons. He will have to solve creepy puzzles to escape from deadly dangerous rooms. Escapes are based on dialogues that are directly related to the plot. As he progresses, he will learn secrets about everyone who is in the hospital.
