Red Orchestra 2 Rising Storm is no different from the main part in terms of gameplay. But in the add-on, the theater of military operations has changed, which will significantly refresh the impressions of the game and allow you to re-immerse yourself in the world of the most realistic first-person shooter dedicated to the events of World War II. Now players will be able to fight against real opponents or bots in the vastness of the Pacific islands and become either a US soldier or a fighter of the Empire of the Rising Sun.Battles in Red Chapel 2: Rising Storm take place in 6 locations. They are huge in size, and consist of sections of rough terrain with a large number of shelters and blind spots. Any pothole, ledge or large stone will serve as a reliable shield from a stray bullet, which is important, because the character easily dies from one well-aimed shot from the enemy. Moreover, a fatal bullet can very well fly from an ally: the project does not have a system of protection from friendly fire.Soldiers of the opposing factions look beautiful and realistic. Islanders and Americans comment on their actions and attacks in pure Japanese and English, their lines organically fit into the chaos of the battle. Each side has unique features and equipment. For example, the Yankees are using flamethrowers with all their might, which cause colossal damage at short distances. The Japanese paralyze enemies and impair their accuracy with their suicidal hand-to-hand attacks, in which they use bayonets and samurai katanas.
