In Retro Commander, a disaster occurred on a planet in the distant future. Clans fight among themselves to seize the last resources and survive. There is both a single mode and a multiplayer mode. The player receives a plot for the construction of a military base and takes command of the army. The objectives of the missions are different - from eliminating the enemy and capturing the enemy flag to escort. Battles are conducted both on land and in the water and air. Infantrymen, warships, airplanes, submarines, helicopters will be at your disposal. For reconnaissance, it will be possible to use unmanned aerial vehicles. In the Retro Commander strategy, the user receives 1 card by default. This is a large island with green grass and trees in the middle of the ocean. Other terrain can be installed additionally. The terrain is divided into square blocks. Paths can be laid between buildings to move soldiers and equipment. Constructed buildings can be moved or removed using the sledgehammer tool. If there is no space on the island to place a unit, you need to cut down the trees. There is a game currency needed to develop the army. The commander receives new coins for completing quests and defeating enemy troops. It is possible to move between islands by water transport or using aviation. For the base to function, you need to purchase communications for it and build nearby: solar panels, wind power plants, water towers.
