Return to Kurgansk takes players to a post-apocalyptic setting where they must explore a dangerous area with mutants. Events take place in the lands near Kurgan. The project is a re-release of horror-Adventure Shadows of Kurgansk, where users will take control of the first-person character and go on a journey. You will have to fight mutants and zombified people who have become aggressive towards their surroundings.

Survival among monsters becomes the main task in Return of Kurgansk. The hero will be in touch with a mysterious stranger, who will give hints and advice over the walkie-talkie. During the passage, users have to explore a variety of locations where you will visit cemeteries, abandoned villages with anomalies, military facilities and underground laboratories, which have to descend protagonist.

The story campaign can be played in standard mode or with the help of virtual reality glasses (VR). Gamers will be able to interact with the environment, use weapons to defend themselves against enemies, read a diary and craft various items (tools of labor, weapons, equipment, etc.п.). Go out to gather resources scattered on the map to create things. Also, the users will hunt and get food, to study anomalies and traps (electric, invisible, fire, flying) and look for artifacts that improve their skills.
