Rival Megagun is a vertical side-scroller in which you sit at the helm of a spaceship in a futuristic reality show, where you have to fight for your life with a variety of warships and bosses. The main feature of Rival Megagun is the ability to play together in split-screen mode. At a certain point, you can transform into a mega-ship, bursting into the opponent's screen. A ship in this form is capable of inflicting huge damage and instantly crushing opponents. There are several characters to choose from, each with their own shuttle, weapons and abilities. Choose your fighter and develop an individual strategy for battles with a large number of different enemies. By destroying enemies, you will be awarded bonuses. The lives of opponents and leaders are represented by a health bar, which must be brought to zero. By making chains of kills, the counter will multiply and allow you to get much more experience points. There is a leaderboard that allows you to monitor not only individual records, but also your position on the world stage. Three game modes are available: story arcade, split-screen mode and online competition.
