Rock of Ages is a Tower Defense game, although it significantly changes the idea of ​​the genre. A story mode is available, which retells the myth of Sisyphus. However, firstly, it is presented skeptically, and secondly, it is difficult to talk about a clear story here. This is rather a collection of videos for laughter. During the passage, the player will visit five historical eras and meet famous people, such as Socrates and Louis XIV. The goal during the game is to break through the gates of the enemy city before the enemy captures the user's city. The gameplay is divided into two parts. The first is the manufacture of various obstacles to protect against the enemy's advance. These can be, for example, buildings of various types, dynamite or animals. However, obstacles are placed only in certain places marked in green. The money received during the battle will be useful for their construction. As for attacks, during them the player takes control of a huge boulder that demolishes or bypasses everything in its path. The boulder's capabilities can be expanded with boosters if you have the required amount of money. However, if it is destroyed, you will have to wait to use it again. In addition to the story mode, there are also several multiplayer modes. War - a regular competition and Skee Boulder, a type of racing in which boulders roll along the track, destroying everything on it. At the end, you have to land in the best place on a special shield. The player receives a certain number of points for winning each mode.
