The player controls a spaceship, plowing through inhospitable, mysterious space. RymdResa is made in such a way that astronauts do not have literal enemies that they would have to shoot back from, as in a familiar roguelike, but there is an ocean of dangers with a reward for risk in the form of unique opportunities. Exploring the depths of the universe promises unforgettable impressions from discoveries, receiving useful bonuses and improving navigation skills.The gameplay requires the player to be focused and agile. Basically, you will have to dodge space debris and meteorites flying towards you, changing the flight course if you encounter a black hole or a hot giant on the way. The player's task is to explore as many planets as possible and collect valuable resources from wrecked ships and abandoned stations.The game is permeated with a keen sense of oppressive loneliness: the astronaut is slowly going crazy from longing for his home destroyed by an asteroid. The Earth is gone, and now humanity has only one fragile hope left - to find habitable conditions. To immerse yourself in the atmosphere, the main character keeps a personal diary, where he remembers his happy life before the disaster, and the soundtrack fits perfectly into the overall melancholic mood.
