Sacrifice - is a classic real-time strategy game set in a dark and cold fantasy setting. On the battlefields, powerful magicians sort things out here. The emphasis is shifted to the large-scale battles themselves, much less time is spent on building and gathering resources. The wizards available to choose from use the spells of various magical schools, and are also able to summon various creatures to help themselves.
To call someone to help him, the magician needs to collect a special currency - living souls. But the mana for spells is restored over time on its own. Five deities act as schools of magic here, the player chooses one of them and uses its privileges.
As is usually the case in strategy games, the 10-mission story campaign serves only as an extensive training session before going into multiplayer. Multiplayer battles allow five mages to participate in one battle. There are several game modes - capturing control points, a game to destroy opponents, collecting a certain resource and farm creatures for speed.
Stylistically, players will experience a dark fantasy with violent scenes. A lot of pathos and heroic music, as well as fanciful models of summoned creatures will make a strong impression on fans of this kind of projects.
