Savage Arena is a futuristic sports fighting game where blood and guts are all that matter. The player will have to not only defeat the enemy, but destroy him. The bigger the carnage, the better. The gameplay consists of a football-based game in which two teams fight each other, and it is necessary to score a ball into the goal of the other team to score points. Anything inside the zone is considered a powerful hit, for which you can get only 1 point, but outside the painted area around the net you can get a nice 5 points. Another thing to pay attention to is the extreme violence. Fatalities and goalie kills are a very funny and brutal feature. If you hit him in the head enough times, he will bleed out and die.The visuals in Savage Arena are excellent. The fog trails and amazing shadow work are used to track the movement of the ball itself; it is definitely the best effect that Arena has to offer. The stadiums look beautiful, with well-rendered folds and lines. The sound in the fighting game is a little weak, which is justified by the year of release. But the really decent example of sound is the sharp thud of the ball flying through the air when someone throws it. Otherwise, the sound is riddled with flaws and glitches - sometimes fading, sometimes disappearing, and then returning again. The player's movements are combined with surprisingly realistic passing and accuracy depending on the user. As for the results, it is extremely difficult to win several matches in a row. The computer AI is extremely smart. Rage takes AI to the next level. Of course, you can win here, but it is impossible to do it consistently while playing in the league.
