Savage Lands takes the player to a mysterious world full of dangers. The player must survive with all their might, because every corner is inhabited by all sorts of monsters in the form of the undead, giants and dragons. To stay alive, you will have to build a shelter, go to extract resources and, of course, create weapons to be able to fight off the attacking monsters. When moving around the locations, it is worth remembering that an enemy thirsty for blood can be waiting in any place. What kind of monsters the player will encounter in Savage Lands depends on the time of day. Some wander the world during the day, and some at night, but this is not the only difference between the monsters. In addition to external differences, monsters have different abilities, methods of killing and artificial intelligence, which allows all species to act individually in different situations. Also, different breeds have different sets of characteristics, which is why some are fast but not particularly strong, while others are deadly but slow. To kill particularly large and ferocious species, it is better to team up with other players. As befits a real survival horror, the game has a system of creating items and building. Collected resources can not only be recrafted into equipment and weapons, which will help to better cope with attacking enemies, but also to cook food from them. Do not forget about the destructibility of buildings. At the beginning of the game, the gamer's shelter will look like a swaying tent, but as you progress, it will need to be improved, and especially strengthened, since the building here is destroyed.
