Scarlet Hood and the Wicked Wood is a collection of well-known fairy tales with a modern twist. The main character is a girl named Scarlett, who gets caught in a tornado vortex. The protagonist woke up in an unknown place, as it becomes known later - in the world of fairy tales. The local territories are inhabited by fairy-tale creatures, brave knights, elves and many others. However, in addition to all the good creatures, seven witches live in the forest, each of which is designated by a separate color. In an attempt to get home, Scarlett learns that the only way out is to go through the Evil Forest. The girl, in the company of funny munchkins, heads through the dark forest. However, the Black Witch who lived there does not like guests, so she kills the protagonist.A special restoration spell helps the character to be resurrected. Now the heroine has exactly 7 days to find a way out of the mysterious fairy tale. The protagonist can move around the locations, jump and attack. A health bar in the form of several red hearts is displayed at the top. The main part of the gameplay is occupied by solving puzzles and riddles, which are presented in the form of mini-games. During many conversations, the player will have to make responsible and difficult choices that affect the further development of events.
